Day 104

Left Robe River quite early, we had a phone call from Yvonne at 7-30 am (she had forgotten the 2 hours difference) so we got up, had breakfast and left about 8-15 am.  We drove through to Point Samson calling at Karratha on the way through.  The difference in Karratha since our last visit four years ago is incredible, there is a whole new housing estate on the outskirts with some lovely new houses.  It is just a pity that in a few years time they will all be covered in red dust.

We arrived in Point Samson around lunchtime and boy was it warm.  I think this is the warmest day we have had since we have been away (probably about 32 degrees).  After we had set up and had a shower we rang Colin and Gail, they are staying at Colin's brothers house in Wickham about 10 minutes from here.  They came over and had a few drinks with us this afternoon.   It was nice to catch up.

We sat outside quite late tonight it was a lovely clear night - Graham turned the TV around so that he could watch it through the bedroom window.  We had the prawns that we bought yesterday for dinner.
