Day 103

After picking up our mail from Catherine at the Westpac bank in Exmouth we set of for our next destination which is a free camp - Robe River.  We left Exmouth at about 9-45 am and arrived here at about 3-30 pm.  We actually stayed at this camp on our last trip four years ago.  It is very dusty but quite pretty it is right on the Robe River.

On our way out of Exmouth we stopped at the Big Prawn and bought a kilo of fresh cooked prawns for $15 (yummy).  We passed loads of termite mounds, and we were picking out what we thought some of them looked like.  They are quite massive and some of them look like old men.

The road was absolutely boring today dead straight, red dirt and rocky escarpments.  We passed the Hammersley Ranges, which was a nice lookout.   Along the road there were some really nice wild flowers, it makes me wonder how these flowers survive in such a dry environment, but they are quite prolific.
