Day 45

We had a drive out to Nannup and Bridgetown today with Betty and David. It was a long drive about a 200 km round trip.  We had lunch at the Cidery in Bridgetown. They make all sorts of different ciders and we had a taste test, starting at the high alcoholic content down to the non-alcoholic content.  They use Pink Lady apples for their cider and they do not add any sugar or preservatives.  It was all really very nice.   Both Bridgetown and Nannup are very old towns with lots of historic building.  Once again we drove through lots of forests and we were amazed at the number of Blackboys (Grass Trees) growing in the forest.  We had a really good day out and when we got back to the van we sat round the fire with the caravan group and they had a few people playing instruments, it was quite good music.  Once again the weather was cold but sunny.  They are forecasting rain over the next few days but they have got it wrong before so we will just keep our fingers crossed.
