Left Quobba this morning and decided that we would spend a night in Carnarvon, once again to catch up on washing, shopping, fuel etc. We booked into the Big4 Caravan Park and it was nice after nine nights without power and facilities to be able to have a long hot shower (as much as we love our shower in the van you have to be cautious with how much water you use when you are not on mains). I washed the sheets and towels, and it was nice to get them dry on the line. We then went into Carnarvon and got our supplies. Whilst in Carnarvon we had a quick drive around the Gascoyne River. When we got back to the van we had a call from a couple we had met in Smoky Bay who come from Narre Warren, Frank and Dee, they are also in Carnarvon and they came round for happy hour. Needless to say we didn't need dinner tonight after all the nibbles we had.
