Left Geraldton for Kalbarri this morning. We travelled through Port Gregory, which was a pretty little place with a lake that is very pink. We also had a look at the ruins of the Lynton Hiring Station, which is quite interesting. There is not much at Port Gregory, couldn't even get a Sunday paper (Shane had asked us to pick one up for him). The beach was quite nice and the town seemed quite clean.
We then came through to the farm that Shane and Jodi have been allowed to use again. It belongs to the same people that own the farm in Moora. This one is 2,500 acres, but it is not farmed at all. The ground is very sandy. This farm is even more remote that the other one, it is about 45 kms south east of Kalbarri. I think we will be here for about three nights. Tomorrow we are going for a drive into Kalbarri.
