Day 3

Today we drove through to Mount Gambier, only 164 kilometres from Port Fairy, it was raining quite heavily and the rain has been off and on all day.  It has also been quite cold.  This is the first time we have experienced rain with this van, and at least we do not appear to have any leaks.   We set up camp in the Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park, not the best park we have been on but it is only for one night and it was quite cheap.  We drove out to the Blue Lake this afternoon, which at the moment is navy blue in colour.  Apparently in winter it turns grey.  We met a couple from Werribee South in the caravan park, they also have a Jayco Sterling but it is a 25 foot van.  They have kindly invited us over for a roast dinner tonight (Yum).
